Synopsis

Systemic - From Parts to the Whole /
Solo Exhibition by Chan Wei San

The Systemic series emerges from Chan Wei San’s observation and reflection on living systems in nature. Seeking to understand the whole through its parts, he employs reductive visual language and mimetic strategies, using blocks of color, lines, and dots to construct a structural beauty that transcends representation. Through these works, the artist invites viewers to reconsider whether nature and life are merely the result of random evolution, or intricate systems shaped by intention and design.
